Let's be honest, shaving isn't fun. Maybe shaving was a blast the first time you shaved your whiskers (or whatever else you shaved in your youth), but now it's more of a chore. While it takes me about 2 days to get a 5 o'clock shadow, shaving that briar patch on the third day is enough of a pain for me that I've been on a quest to make shaving as pleasant as possible.
I tried the brands you've probably heard of (Gilette, Edge, Aveeno, Neutrogena, Nivea, Barbasol, Anthony, King of Shaves) before finally coming across Cremo Shave Cream. I was using King of Shaves SSE Cooling Gel regularly prior because it offered a nice glide with a cooling feeling afterwards thanks to the menthol. However, the cooling sensation would inevitably turn my skin dry.
Cremo Creme won me over because it provides a great, smooth glide, leaves my face soft and supple (yes, supple) afterwards and has a great bergamot scent. I've noticed a marked reduction in cuts, and it's smooth enough to that I've shaved against the grain without injury.
